Monstera Deliciosa

Monstera deliciosa is an iconic aroid native to the rainforests of Central America, celebrated for its bold, fenestrated foliage and vigorous growth habit. Often referred to as the “Swiss Cheese Plant,” its large, glossy leaves naturally develop dramatic splits and perforations — an adaptation that allows light to reach lower leaves in its native canopy-dwelling habitat.

This hemiepiphytic climber can thrive indoors with the right conditions and, when mature, becomes a true statement plant. Its aerial roots and vining nature make it well-suited to moss poles or large containers, and its tolerance for a range of conditions makes it a favorite among beginner and expert collectors alike.
